We now pay US import tariffs

It might seem strange for a company to be pleased about paying import tariffs, but from September 2025 onwards we're genuinely glad to tell our US customers that we now send your parcels as "delivery duty paid", which is the logistics jargon way to say "the sender pays all import fees for the recipient". This means that customers in the US will not need to pay any tariffs, duties, or customs handling fees when they buy our rope — the charge is settled before your parcel ever leaves us.

Since the US $800 de minimis exemption was removed, imported orders that used to arrive charge-free can now be hit with unexpected fees on the doorstep. Setting this up has not been a simple process, but we feel strongly that burdening customers with unexpected charges should be avoided whenever possible.

All our US parcels are fully tracked from dispatch to delivery, so you'll never have to worry about where your order is.

Thank you for your patience, and enjoy the upgraded service!
