Cotton Rope
Soft, slightly stretchy, and almost zero maintenance.
We generally prefer jute rope, but cotton earns it place. Soft stretchy and forgiving, it suits relaxed, intimate play, at home or at a gathering. It washes clean by hand or gentle machine wash. Affordable to stock up on, and no need for maintenance. The give that makes cotton so comfortable also means it isn't a rope anything load-bearing.
Construction — 3-strand twice (not braided), so standard shibari techniques work
